WHAT IS CALF REDUCTION?
A calf reduction is now a possibility if you are bothered with the appearance of your calves. There are many women who feel that the size of their calf is not in proportion to the rest of their leg or their calf is simply too muscular. So, this procedure has risen in popularity. This is a good, non-surgical option to tackle this insecurity. Mr Mark Ho-Asjoe is skilled in injectable treatments and is able to sculpt the calves with muscle-relaxing injections. This will produce a slimmer, more aesthetically-pleasing appearance to the lower legs. The procedure will involve Botox being injected into the gastrocnemius muscle. The gastrocnemius muscle is the most superficial calf muscle that is responsible for bulkiness and definition of the calf. The botox then causes this muscle to relax, creating a leaner appearance in the leg. Once this is completed, the patient doesn't need any downtime.
Mr Mark Ho-Asjoe also performs the procedure at the Karidis Clinic.
This is a minimally-invasive procedure with no downtime and results can last three to four months.
